Welcome to the Katoomba Taxi's Special Needs & Wheelchair Transport Service.

This service is available as required, but to ensure that we are able to meet your needs, it is strongly advised that you pre-arrange bookings as early as possible.

This is the only Wheelchair Accessible Taxi service in the Upper Moutains area, and accordingly, demand for this service can at times be high.

and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

SCHOOL DAYS

Due to our contract with the Dept. Of Education for school transport for children with special needs, the service is generally unavailable between 7.45am - 9.00am and 2.00pm - 4.15pm on School Days.

TAXI SUBSIDY TRANSPORT SCHEME

This scheme, administrated by the N.S.W. Ministry Of Transport, helps to alleviate Taxi transport costs to people with permanent disabilities. Should you require further information regarding this scheme, please phone their toll free No:1800-623724.

WEEKEND TRANSPORT

It is essential, where possible, to pre-book weekend transport on the Mobile Booking No. (0424-656605), otherwise directly thru the Taxi Base on (4782-1311)
