Welcome to the Katoomba Taxi's Special Needs & Wheelchair Transport Service.
This service is available as required, but to ensure that we are able to meet your needs,
It is strongly advised that you pre-arrange bookings as early as possible.
As this is the only Wheelchair Accessible Taxi service in the area, and accordingly,
demand for this service can at times be high.

And I will return your call as soon as possible.
Please note that unless in an emergency, I am unable to take taxi related calls outside these hours.
This service is governed by Local Area Restrictions enforced by N.S.W. Ministry Of Transport regulations, and accordingly,
is entitled to charge Return To Area taxi meter rates. Our area is Wentworth Falls to Medlow Bath inclusive.
Due to our contract with the Dept. Of Education for school transport for children with special needs, the service is unavailable between 8.00am - 9.00am and 2.30pm - 4.00pm on School Days.
This scheme, administrated by the N.S.W. Ministry Of Transport, helps to alleviate Taxi transport costs to people with permanent disabilities. Should you require further information regarding this scheme, please let me know.
It is essential, where possible, to pre-book weekend transport.
